The documentary Viven. Temen. Sueñan. Voces de resistencia desde Palestina comes to Valencia to share the stories of Palestinian women through the eyes of their own filmmakers. Directed by Nuria Silván, in collaboration with Wesam Al Derawi and Yara Shehadeh—who filmed in Gaza and the West Bank—the film gives voice and face to a reality shaped by resistance and memory.
What’s being screened
The documentary features testimonies and experiences of Palestinian women, combining footage shot in Gaza and the West Bank with an intimate and political perspective. Created by a team of filmmakers and journalists from Palestine and Spain, the work explores the daily struggles, dreams, and fears of those living under occupation, highlighting female resilience.

After the screening, a discussion will be held with:
- Nuria Silván, director of the documentary.
- Yara Shehadeh, Palestinian filmmaker and co-director of the work.
- Rosa de Falastín Mustafá, activist and representative of the Palestinian community in Spain.
The event will be an opportunity to delve into the creative process behind the documentary, the challenges of filming in conflict zones, and the role of women in Palestinian resistance.
