A cycle for Valencian political dialogue
On 6 October 2026, the Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània (OCCC) will be the venue for the first session of the «PARLEM del País Valencià in action» cycle, an initiative by Acció Cultural del País Valencià (ACPV). The aim is to create a space for dialogue between political representatives and citizens, where concrete proposals for the future of the region will be presented. The opening session will feature Joan Baldoví i Roda, spokesperson for Més-Compromís in the Corts Valencianes, who will address key issues such as regional management, culture, and social rights.
What will be discussed?
The cycle is designed to bring politics closer to citizens without filters. Baldoví, a teacher and politician with a long track record in defending the Valencian language and identity, will outline his party’s strategic priorities ahead of the next elections. Topics such as public education, sustainability, and citizen participation will be on the table, in a format that encourages debate and collective reflection.
The event will be introduced by Anna Oliver Borràs, president of ACPV, who will set the context for the cycle’s objectives and moderate the session. While this is the first event, the schedule will be expanded in the coming months with the participation of other political groups, establishing the OCCC as a hub for democratic dialogue.
