What to Expect in Flashback
El Trío Atria presents a programme that connects chamber music with the birth of modern cinema. The selected works —by Dmitri Shostakovich, Paul Schoenfeld and Erich Wolfgang Korngold— reflect how drama, urban rhythm and visual narrative influenced 20th-century musical composition. Korngold, renowned for his Hollywood scores, completes the circle: his piano trio music directly engages with cinematic language.
Who’s Performing
The trio consists of three musicians based in Fribourg (Germany):
- Lucía Fernández (violin),
- Álvaro Berlanga (cello) and
- Nina Muñoz (piano).
Their training in chamber music and international careers have led them to explore repertoires that go beyond the classical, as demonstrated in this concert.
Schedule and Duration
The concert will take place in two sessions: at 12:00 and 13:00. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes, the signature format of CaixaForum’s Microconcerts, designed to offer intense and accessible musical experiences.
Prices and Tickets
Admission is free and distributed at CaixaForum Valencia until capacity is reached. No advance booking is required, though arriving early is recommended, especially for the 12:00 session.
This concert is part of the Microconcerts Cycle, an initiative aimed at bringing chamber music to audiences through short, high-artistic-level performances.
