Dance-theatre questioning the crystal generation
Transparentar is a dance-theatre production by the company Enésima, created and performed by Bal Castro and Inés Santos, artists from Generation Z. The piece tackles the label of the "crystal generation" from a critical perspective: is it truly fragile, or does it merely reveal the system’s shortcomings? Through bodily poetry and an ironic tone, the show explores themes such as collective mental health, systemic exhaustion, and generational identity, fostering an intergenerational dialogue.
The performance is structured around three axes: the artificial, introspection, and liberation, blending scenic movement with reflections on vulnerability and the visibility of social issues. It is not a show about complaint, but about the ability to name and share what hurts.
