A idyllic summer that turns into a nightmare
On Thursday, 3 September 2026, Cines Lys will host the screening of The Sweet Taste of Death, the latest thriller by Eli Roth, the director known for films like Hostel and The Green Inferno. The session, in original version with Spanish subtitles (VOSE), will begin at 20:30 and last 90 minutes.
The film, starring Ari Millen (Orphan Black), Charlie Zeltzer, and Shiloh O’Reilly, tells the story of a quiet holiday village where children begin to exhibit violent and murderous behaviour after consuming cursed ice creams. Only three children, immune to the curse, will try to save the adults and stop the nightmare.
