The work redefining theatrical space
Lima Radiante is not a conventional show. It is an immersive installation-piece where the audience ceases to be mere spectators and becomes an active part of the experience. Created by choreographer Poliana Lima and the Valencian studio Radiante Light Art Studio, the work uses the body, light, and sound as scenic materials on equal terms. Abstraction is its main tool: by avoiding linear narratives, it invites each attendee to construct their own interpretation.
The proposal emerges from an artistic residency at Carme Teatre and is presented as a world premiere within the venue’s XXXII Season. Its hybrid approach—mixing dance, performance, visual arts, and new technologies—seeks to explore how light and sound can build the scene alongside movement, rather than merely accompanying it.
Dates, times, and access
The work can be seen in 8 performances between 3 and 13 September 2026, with varying schedules:
- 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, and 12 September: 20:00
- 6 and 13 September: 19:00
Each session lasts 60 minutes, and tickets are available from €11 on the official Carme Teatre website.
The creative team
Direction and choreography are by Poliana Lima, whose career in contemporary dance is defined by her experimental approach. For this project, she collaborates closely with Radiante Light Art Studio, a collective specialising in integrating light art into scenic projects. The work is the result of a residency at Carme Teatre, where both teams have developed a unique visual and sonic language for this proposal.
