The Migrats Circ festival transforms Plaza Nàpols i Sicília into an open-air stage for contemporary circus over six consecutive evenings. From 2 to 7 September 2026, at 7:00 PM, audiences can enjoy a free programme featuring vertical dance, clown, juggling, acrobatics, and aerial disciplines. Each performance lasts around 20 minutes and is designed for all ages, offering a dynamic and accessible format perfect for outdoor enjoyment in the heart of Ciutat Vella.
Highlights of the programme
The festival kicks off on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 September with three short pieces:
- "A Futile Act of Domestication", by Bert Berg: a fusion of dance and verticals.
- "Máximo Óptimo", by Máximo Óptimo: clown and juggling.
- "Falso Negativo", by Bufoneta and shadow circus: acrobatics with a humorous twist.
On Thursday 3 and Friday 4, the following acts take the stage:
- "¡Arre!", by Aitor Este: urban pole dance.
- "On Comença el Vent", by Laura Soler and Yasmine Boyer: aerial disciplines.
- "Tacones en el Pasillo", by Vaivé Circ students: a stylish aerial number.
Over the weekend, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6, the festival wraps up in the square with two longer performances:
- "¡Tornillo Magic Clown!", by Quique Montoya: clown and magic.
- "El Mejor Atraco de tu Vida", by Cía. Espenta: a 50-minute show combining acrobatics, juggling, and clown.
A festival with continuity
After its run in Plaza Nàpols i Sicília, Migrats Circ will move to Espai Inestable from 13 September, continuing its programme with new acts until the end of the month. Now in its eighth edition, this festival is a must for contemporary circus lovers in Valencia and a chance to discover emerging talent and the most innovative proposals in the sector.
