Screening and Debate at the OCCC
On 30 September 2026 at 19:00, the Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània (OCCC) will host the screening of «Les Culpables», a documentary by Marta Duran Lozano as part of the Dona’m Drets cycle. The event is free and will include a post-screening debate.
Documentary Synopsis
«Les Culpables» features a hundred anonymous testimonies about abortion experiences during adolescence. Director Marta Duran Lozano transforms these stories into a collective narrative through six young women who give voice and face to these experiences. The documentary stems from the director’s personal journey and aims to shed light on a socially silenced reality.
About the Dona’m Drets Cycle
This cycle, organised by Dona i Cinema, showcases films directed by women that explore human rights. Following «Les Culpables», «Dissonants» will be screened on 14 October, focusing on independent communication, and on 28 October, a session dedicated to films by Iranian women directors.
