A race under Valencia’s stars
On 26 September 2026, Valencia will light up for the 15K Nocturna Gana Energía, a 15-kilometre urban race taking runners through some of the city’s most iconic spots. Organised by the Valencia Athletics Club and certified by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, this event is part of the international calendar and has become a must-attend for runners and running enthusiasts.
The race starts at 22:30 from Avenida Ingeniero Manuel Soto, near Valencia’s port. The same location serves as the finish line, where a lit arch will welcome participants after completing the route.
A route through Valencia’s most emblematic landmarks
The course is designed to combine effort and scenery, passing through key areas of the city:
- Avenida del Puerto and Avenida de Aragón, via Calle Artes Gráficas and Plaza de Zaragoza.
- Paseo de la Alameda, with views of the Turia River.
- City of Arts and Sciences, one of Valencia’s most recognisable symbols.
- Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Calle de la Paz, in the heart of the city.
- Plaza Europa and Parotet roundabout, where the 13 km mark is reached.
- Avenida de Francia and Calle Menorca, before returning to the start point.
The maximum time to complete the race is 120 minutes.
