Choreography on wheels and balance
Within A Thousand Suns is a creation by the duo Oktawia Ścibior and Samory Ba, artists based in Paris who have spent four years exploring how skates and crutches can transform stage movement. The piece, part of the XIV Festival Bucles, proposes a unique physical language where gliding redefines the relationship between body and space. Divided into three choreographic landscapes, it explores themes such as freedom, adaptation, and the constraints that shape how we inhabit the world.
