A show in the making
Galder Varas takes the stage at La PlaZeta with This Is Not a Test, a stand-up show that breaks away from traditional comedy structures. In this format, the Basque comedian presents brand-new material—half-written, half-improvised—to gauge the audience’s reaction. There’s no safety net: every joke, interaction, and segment is put to the test in real time. The goal? To decide which elements will make it into his next show.
The concept taps into the raw essence of live comedy, where the connection with the audience is just as crucial as the material itself.
