A Journey to the Baroque Through Cervantes
On 27 November 2026, L'Auditori de Torrent transforms into the stage for Vanitas: Cervantes Through the Mirror, a theatrical and musical production that explores Miguel de Cervantes’ figure from an intimate and human perspective. Under the stage direction of Luis Luque and musical direction of Carles Magraner, the show brings together Fran Perea as actor and reciter, alongside the Baroque ensemble Capella de Ministrers, to create a dialogue between the Spanish Golden Age and today.

The performance avoids academic rigidity to focus on emotion, using live Baroque music—performed by Capella de Ministrers—as its guiding thread.
