On 26 September 2026, L'Auditori de Torrent will present Tras el verano, a feature film addressing the emotional and legal conflicts surrounding motherhood. Directed by Yolanda Centeno and co-written with Jesús Luque, the film tells the story of Paula, a woman fighting to maintain her bond with Dani, a child who is not her biological son, amid a separation and a legal void that questions what matters more: feelings or DNA.
The cast includes Alexandra Jiménez, Juan Diego Botto, Álex Infantes, and Ruth Gabriel. After the 94-minute screening, there will be a discussion with the directors, where the audience can engage in a conversation about the creative process and the film’s themes.
The event is part of the Ciclo de Cine Independiente and is free to attend, though an invitation is required. Each person can request a maximum of 4 invitations, available from 10 September. For more details about the venue, check the L'Auditori de Torrent profile.
