Three acts in reverse order
On 18 September 2026, Filmoteca Valenciana will screen The Life of Chuck at Edificio Rialto, a film adaptation of Stephen King’s short story. Released the same year, the movie tells the life of Chuck Krantz in three episodes presented in reverse order: from his final days in a world on the brink of collapse to his childhood, uncovering hidden connections between the fragments of his existence. Directed as a drama with science fiction undertones, the film has a runtime of 110 minutes and will be shown in original version with subtitles (OV with subtitles).
The screening is part of Filmoteca’s regular programming, which in 2026 includes thematic cycles such as «Cinema in front of the mirror», dedicated to films that reflect on the medium itself.
