A poetry club with an open format
Poetrix is a monthly gathering at La Casa de Patraix where poets—both regulars and first-timers—recite their own verses or those by other authors. The event follows a structured two-round format:
- First round: Each poet reads a poem by another participant, assigned at random.
- Second round: Attendees share an original poem, and may invite someone from the audience or the whole room to join in.
Throughout the session, there’s an open mic for anyone who wants to take the stage, with no need to be a professional poet. This 16 September (Wednesday) at 20:00, the club kicks off its 2026-2027 season, marking its return after the summer break.
Practical details
Attendance is free, but consumption is mandatory. To take part—whether as a poet or as part of the audience—you must reserve a spot via WhatsApp at 670 115 918. There are no prerequisites: just bring your enthusiasm for listening to or sharing poetry.
