Creation inspired by Chekhov
Moscú no existe is a production developed by the company L’Om Imprebís in collaboration with Teatro Off. Drawing from a scenic writing laboratory based on Anton Chekhov’s plays Uncle Vanya, The Seagull, Three Sisters, and The Cherry Orchard, the piece reinterprets their conflicts to reflect contemporary archetypes: a disillusioned worker, a precarious dreamer, an invisible caregiver, and a speculator.
The production is directed by Michel Lopez and Santiago Sánchez, with a cast featuring Carles Montoliu, Víctor Lucas, Pilar Martínez, and Beatriu Casanova. After a technical residency at Teatro Off, the play will premiere in October 2026 at the Teatro Fernán Gómez in Madrid.
Open rehearsals
Before its premiere, the company offers two open rehearsals on 18 September 2026 at Teatro Off. These sessions allow the audience to witness the creative process live, as scenes and dialogues are fine-tuned.
