An immersive experience that dissolves boundaries
Lima Radiante is the world premiere of a production that challenges the limits of conventional theatre. Created by choreographer Poliana Lima and the Valencian collective Radiante Light Art Studio, this hybrid piece—somewhere between installation, performance and dance—transforms the Carme Teatre into a sensory laboratory where the audience shifts from passive spectators to active participants.
Abstraction, light and sound intertwine to create a scenic device that invites viewers to construct their own narratives. There is no linear story or single message: the work takes shape through the gaze of those who inhabit it, altering the traditional relationship between stage and audience. Each performance lasts 60 minutes, with eight shows scheduled between 3 and 13 September 2026. Performances take place at 20:00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and at 19:00 on Sundays. Light, body and sound as equals
In Lima Radiante, light does not merely illustrate the scene, nor does sound simply accompany the choreography: all three elements—body, light and sound—share equal prominence. The piece is built on the premise that abstraction fuels imagination, leaving room for the audience to engage with their own interpretations. Opening Season XXXII of Carme Teatre under the motto «Viu l’escena de prop», this production also serves as a reminder of theatre as a space of resistance: a place to practice attention, concentration and collective participation, far removed from the fast pace of everyday life.
