The 10th edition of L’Eliana Cinema reinforces its commitment to local and amateur filmmaking with a programme blending competition, education, and entertainment. Taking place in L’Eliana from 11 to 19 September, the festival includes two competitive sections:
- Cinema a l’Escola: aimed at students from educational centres, who submit short films created in a school setting. The entries compete for awards in their category.
- 72 Hours: a creative challenge for 15 teams, who must shoot a short film in just three days. The organisers draw a location and an object that must be included in the script, testing improvisation and teamwork skills.
Beyond the competitions, the festival features side activities—workshops, talks, and meet-ups—all linked to the world of cinema. These free-access events will be announced during the official launch of the edition.
The closing event will include a screening of the previous edition’s winning short film, Pálpito, directed by Marisa Crespo and Moisés Romera, whose attendance is confirmed.
All activities will take place at L’Eliana and require no prior booking, unless stated otherwise in the detailed programme.
