A cinematic journey under the stars
This summer, the Filmoteca d’Estiu returns to Valencia, turning the Gardens of the Palau de la Música into an open-air cinema. On 25 August 2026 at 22:30, Grand Tour, a 128-minute film, will be screened as part of this summer cycle organised by the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC) and Valencia City Council. Though the title isn’t listed in the official 2026 programme, the screening is confirmed for that date in Section XI of the Turia Garden, next to the Palau de la Música.
About the Filmoteca d’Estiu 2026
This year’s programme is divided into two sections:
- Un riu de cinema: A reflection on rivers as narrative symbols, featuring classics like The Night of the Hunter and L’Atalante.
- Top crítica i festivals 2025: A selection of the most acclaimed and award-winning films from festivals in the previous year.
The programme includes 19 titles (17 feature films and 2 short films), all in their original language, running from 31 July to 29 August. The box office and bar open at 21:30, one hour before each screening.

Pricing details for Grand Tour are not specified in official sources. In previous editions, Filmoteca d’Estiu screenings have been free or open access, but we recommend checking the IVC’s official page to confirm any changes for this year.
