A short film under the stars
Valencia’s Filmoteca d’Estiu will host the screening of 'LLEÓ', a 22-minute short film, on 20 August 2026 at 22:30. This event is part of the summer open-air cinema programme, which every year attracts hundreds of locals and tourists to the Jardín del Turia (Tramo XI), next to the Palau de la Música. Tickets are priced at €4 and can be purchased at the official box office.
How to get there
The Filmoteca d’Estiu is located in a central, well-connected spot:

- On foot or by car: The venue is just a few minutes from Valencia’s city centre. If driving, the closest car park is Conde Altea - Salamanca - Canovas (505 m), though demand is usually high in summer.
Tips for the screening
- Bring a light layer, as evenings can get chilly, even in August.
- Arrive early to secure a good spot, especially if you’re in a group. Open-air screenings are very popular.
- Remember to respect the surroundings: Jardín del Turia is a protected natural space, so avoid leaving any waste.
- Book your ticket in advance to guarantee your seat, as capacity may be limited.
