A documentary on communication in times of noise
On 16 September, the cultural space La Repartidora will host the screening of the documentary «Dissonants. Com comuniquem en un món ple de soroll?», a collective reflection on how we communicate in a context marked by hate speech, technological acceleration, and ecological, social, and democratic crises. The film, lasting 57 minutes, seeks to offer alternative and critical perspectives on these challenges.
What to expect from the session
After the screening, there will be a discussion with Eva, one of the voices linked to the project. This is not just about watching the documentary but opening a space for dialogue around the questions it raises: How can we build narratives that counteract media noise? What role do alternative media and critical communication play in today’s society?
Entry is free and does not require prior booking, though seating is limited. The event is aimed at audiences interested in critical thinking, communication, and social movements.
Context of the documentary
Dissonants emerges at a time when disinformation and polarisation dominate public debate. Through testimonies and analysis, the documentary invites us to rethink how we engage with information and how we can construct more inclusive and transformative discourses. It is not a closed product but a tool for debate, as demonstrated by the post-screening discussion.
