A play inspired by real events
Zumo de remolacha arrives at La Rambleta on 18 September 2026 as a theatrical proposal that blends theatre and activism. Memory and justice: a tribute to DANA victims
The performance is deeply marked by the cold drop (DANA) that devastated the province of Valencia in 2023, leaving a trail of destruction from Utiel to the coast and particularly affecting municipalities like Letur (Albacete). The set design, costumes and some characters pay tribute to the victims, and part of the proceeds will go to associations still fighting for truth, justice and reparations.
As a prelude to the play, a meeting with DANA victim associations, titled 20:11 Memory and Justice, will take place on the same day. Scheduled for 20:11, this event will highlight their demands and connect climate activism with the real consequences of natural disasters.
