Circo Sombra at La Reina 121
On 27 September 2026, the cultural centre La Reina 121 will host "Pasillo 3", a contemporary circus performance created by Circo Sombra in collaboration with Compañía Bufoneta. The show, scheduled for 12:00, is part of the XIV Valencirc Festival, which celebrates circus across various venues in Valencia from 27 September to 12 October.
Circo Sombra’s Proposal
"Pasillo 3" is a performance blending acrobatics, juggling, and physical theatre, exploring the metaphor of a corridor as a space of transition. According to the festival programme, the show lasts approximately one hour and is aimed at all audiences, though it is especially recommended for children aged 6 and above. Entry is free, but the venue has limited capacity, so arriving early is advised.
Circo Sombra is a Valencian collective known for its innovative approach, combining circus disciplines with visual storytelling and humour. For this production, they collaborate with Compañía Bufoneta, specialists in clown and gestural theatre, to create an accessible and engaging experience.
The Venue: La Reina 121
The cultural centre La Reina 121 is a municipal space refurbished in 2020 and opened to the public in May 2024. Located in the Cabanyal neighbourhood, its architecture blends industrial elements with modern touches, creating an ideal setting for contemporary artistic performances. The venue is part of the Cabanyal Cultural Hub, an initiative aimed at revitalising the area through cultural activities.
