On 3 October 2026, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) will host the fifth event of the Mundos por venir series, titled Habitar. The discussion will feature sociologist Javier Gil (CSIC) and anthropologist Aníbal G. Arregui, who will address the housing crisis and multispecies cohabitation.
Javier Gil will present his book Generación inquilina: un nuevo paradigma de vivienda para acabar con la desigualdad (2026), proposing a model based on the right to inhabit, social justice, and the democratisation of territory. Aníbal G. Arregui will analyse anthropocentric biases in concepts like "technology" or "species", advocating for a pluralist perspective that includes other organisms in urban coexistence.
