A workshop to shape the memory of Parque Central
CC Nave3 Ribes is hosting the third session of Huellas bajo el jardín, a family-friendly workshop blending archaeology, art, and heritage. Aimed at children and adults, the activity invites participants to reconstruct the past of Parque Central using pressed clay and plaster moulds, exploring everything from traditional orchards to the old railway tracks that once crossed the area.
In collaboration with ARAE Arquitectura y Patrimonio, attendees will work on a collective three-dimensional piece reflecting the site’s historical layers. Once completed, the artwork will be displayed at Nave 3 during the Open House Valencia festival and later added to the cultural centre’s permanent collection.
No prior experience or personal materials are required—everything needed will be provided on-site.
For details on how to get there, check the CC Nave3 Ribes venue page.
What will participants take away?
Beyond the creative experience, attendees will help preserve the area’s memory through a tangible piece of work. The activity also encourages teamwork and reflection on how urban spaces hold traces of their past.
