Embroidery for emotional wellbeing
Nave3 Ribes Cultural Centre will host Bordar todo lo cura on 8 September 2026, a free workshop that explores embroidery as a tool for emotional care and community building. Designed for all audiences, including beginners, the workshop invites participants to explore this craft technique from a free and expressive perspective, without pressure for the final result.
Dynamics and objectives
The workshop focuses on the creative process as a means to reduce stress and anxiety. Studies show that embroidery can lower cortisol levels—the hormone linked to stress—promoting concentration and emotional connection. Through participatory activities, attendees will experiment with threads and fabrics in a relaxed environment, where the act of creating is what matters, not the end product.
Requirements and materials
- Mandatory prior registration: by emailing infonave3ribes@gmail.com or calling 960 11 76 79.
