A no-holds-barred comedy and storytelling show
Rubén Avilés and Cecilia Pérez, known for their humour on social media, take to a Valencia stage together for the first time to present Bacon Nights and Dreams. The show, coming to La PlaZeta on 29 August 2026, promises a night of live comedy with stories they couldn’t share on platforms like TikTok due to format constraints.
What to expect from the show
The duo, who call themselves the chicharrón team, blend personal anecdotes, direct audience interaction and performance. As they promote the event, they hint at improvisation and a laid-back tone, though they warn: «We don’t know if our friendship will survive this show.»
Tickets are available from €12.50, a single price for all seats. The event is recommended for ages 16 and up, though there’s no official age restriction.
From social media to the stage
Rubén Avilés, a content creator with millions of followers, and Cecilia Pérez, a regular collaborator in his videos, make the leap to theatre with this project. Though their time on social media has been short, their popularity has allowed them to bring their humour to a live format, where audience connection is key.
