Two digital art and electronic proposals at TEM
On 16 October 2026, Teatre El Musical (TEM) hosts two of the standout performances of the XI Volumens Festival, an event celebrating its eleventh edition from 13 to 18 October in Valencia. The session, with a single ticket price of €10, brings together two projects exploring the relationship between technology and creativity in real time: 30×N and Loraine James & Fynn Dobson. Capacity is limited to 402 people, and the event begins at 19:00.
30×N: Generative audiovisual performance
The Portuguese trio @C + Visiophone, consisting of Miguel Carvalhais, Pedro Tudela, and Rodrigo Carvalho, presents 30×N, a performance based on a modular generative system. The artists interact live with computers, sound, lights, and visuals to create a unique piece for each show. The project, premiered in 2024 at CAAA in Guimarães, reflects the trajectory of Carvalhais and Tudela—collaborators since 2000 under the name @c and founders of the experimental music label Crónica—as well as Carvalho’s experience in interactive art and creative programming.
Loraine James & Fynn Dobson: Live electronic set
British artist Loraine James, known for her work in genres like breakbeat and ambient, performs alongside producer and drummer Fynn Dobson. Their set, titled “Detached From The Rest Of You”, blends electronic rhythms with live percussion. James, raised in North London, has been recognised for her ability to reinvent contemporary electronic music.
