Valencia’s most anticipated summer funfair

The Summer Funfair is back at Section IX of the Turia Garden (between Puente de las Flores and Puente de la Exposición) from 23 June to 8 August. Organised by the Valencia Provincial Association of Fairground Operators (ASOFEVA) with support from the City Council, this year’s edition is part of the Gran Fira de Valencia and features over 40 rides, food stalls, and game booths.

Entry to the fairground is free, but each ride costs €3.50 to €6 per ride, depending on the attraction. This year’s highlights include Poseidon (a free-fall tower), Roue de Soleil (a panoramic Ferris wheel), and Crazy Mouse (a spinning roller coaster). For younger visitors, there are gentler options like the happy train and the octopus ride, though height restrictions apply (minimum 1.20 m for the more intense rides).

Opening hours and rules

  • General hours: Sunday to Thursday, 18:30–01:00.
  • Extended hours: Fridays and Saturdays until 02:00.
  • Noise regulations: The loudest rides must stop operating by 23:00 under local noise agreements.
  • Requirements: Visitors under 18 need a signed parental consent form to use the rides.

Food and atmosphere

Beyond the rides, the fairground will have food stalls serving everything from churros, candyfloss, and roasted corn to fast-food options. Game booths (like tombolas and darts) add to the fun.
