A concert to celebrate Valencian musical heritage
The Societat Musical d’Alboraia will close the Som Patrimoni cycle with a concert on 3 October 2026 at 21:00 at the Auditori Municipal de Alboraia. This event, organised by the Federation of Musical Societies of the Comunitat Valenciana (FSMCV), is one of 25 concerts that have toured the three Valencian provinces since 11 July, showcasing the role of musical societies as living cultural heritage.
The Societat Musical d’Alboraia
Founded in 1906, the Societat Musical d’Alboraia is one of the most deeply rooted cultural institutions in the town. With over a century of history, the society not only offers concerts but also provides classes in over 40 instruments, promoting music as a tool for inclusion and education. In this edition of Som Patrimoni, the group will represent Alboraia and close the cycle in the province of Valencia.
The Som Patrimoni cycle
Launched in July 2026, the cycle has brought 25 federated musical societies to stages across the Comunitat Valenciana, from Alicante to Castellón. Each concert has been an opportunity to highlight the diversity and richness of these groups, many with over a century of history. The goal: to recognise their contribution to Valencian cultural heritage and bring their music to new audiences.
