Postpunk and grunge live
On 18 October 2026, the Ram Sessions cycle at La Rambleta hosts a double concert with M⌀ira and Morgue, two emerging bands from Valencia’s alternative scene that mix postpunk, grunge, and punk-rock with distinct attitudes.
M⌀ira: rage and darkness
Formed in 2025 around Mario Wassen (ex Mafalda), M⌀ira describes itself as a band of «vampiric thrash». Their sound blends raw punk-rock, grunge, and metal touches, with lyrics evoking urban rituals, shadows, and rage. Though they haven’t released an album yet, their live performances in self-managed spaces like CSOA have solidified their reputation in the underground circuit.
Morgue: social critique with humour
Born in 2024 in the rehearsal rooms of CSOA l’Horta, Morgue is made up of Piku, Júlia, Àndriu, and Sandra. Their style draws from British and Iberian punk rock, grunge, and postpunk, with a clear motto: «La Morgue is rock». Their lyrics, packed with social critique and humour, reflect a laid-back yet committed attitude. Like M⌀ira, they haven’t released any recordings yet, but their live shows have already made an impact.
