Jazz and Persian tradition at Burning House
Nika Afkari, an Iranian artist based in Valencia, will present her musical project on 1 October 2026 at Burning House. Trained in classical music and opera, and currently a student at Berklee College of Music, Afkari delivers a sound that fuses Persian folklore with contemporary jazz. Her setlist includes original compositions and reinterpretations of traditional Persian songs, reimagined with improvisation and modern harmonies.
The concert will begin at 21:00 and feature her band, though the musicians’ names have not been disclosed. Tickets are already on sale, priced at €15.47 (early-bird) and €18, and include one drink.
