Mondra: Galician music for the 21st century
Galician artist Mondra arrives at La Casa de la Mar (Alboraya) on 25 September 2026 with his A RONDA tour, a show that reinterprets Galician musical tradition through a contemporary, queer and electronic lens. The concert is part of two initiatives: the Músiques Valentes cycle, organised by Último Pasillo, and the 2nd 2026 Cycle of AIEnRuta Artistas, promoting live music in independent venues.
A unique artistic proposal
Mondra—singer, dancer and cantareiro—is one of the most prominent names in the Galician music scene. His music, rooted in Galicia’s oral tradition, incorporates electronic elements and a stage aesthetic that bridges the rural and the queer. With his debut album, ARDĒN (2023), he won the Martín Códax Award for Best Electronic Album 2024 and the Mestre Mateo Award for Best Music Video 2025 for MARIMONDRA.
In 2025, he released his second album, DE RONDA, a personal and irreverent work that he brings to the stage with the A RONDA tour. In this show, Mondra transforms Galician tradition into an innovative sonic and visual experience, featuring choreography, projections and a genre-defying stage production.
