Jorge 99: The Valencian Blues Opening Circuit Viu
On 11 September 2026, Peter Rock Club will host the first concert of Circuit Viu 2026, with Jorge 99 as the headliner. This project, led by a young Valencian musician passionate about blues and country, delivers a setlist that blends these genres with rock’n’roll and soul. Their sound draws from influences like Charlie Patton, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Muddy Waters, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, but with a distinct edge—raw lyrics about love, addiction and mortality.
The band, formed by four musicians who met at Volander in Valencia, released their debut EP, Él Último Blues, in May under the label Osadía Ediciones. The five-track record captures the mix of nostalgia and energy that defines their live performances.
