Two musical projects on one stage
CC Proyecto Juby presents a concert on 24 September featuring Jimena Gonik and Native Nomads, two acts with distinct careers but a shared strength: their live connection. Starting at around 20:00, the evening promises a mix of pop, soul, funk, and indie rock in an intimate setting.
Jimena Gonik: From stages to musical recommendations
Jimena Gonik burst onto the music scene in 2020 and within two years had won the Bienal de Arte Joven (music category) and the Proyecto Disco de Estudio Urbano. In 2022, she released her debut album, Romantik, followed by Tierra Divina in 2024, cementing a sound that blends pop, soul, funk, R&B, and trap. Her energetic and engaging live performances have made her one of Spain’s most in-demand artists.
Beyond music, Gonik runs 366 Discos, a project where she recommends a daily album to hundreds of thousands of followers. This will be her only show in Valencia in 2026.
Native Nomads: Indie rock with Valencian roots
The Valencian band Native Nomads blends Argentine and South African influences into an indie rock sound packed with catchy choruses. In 2023, they won the FIB’s emerging bands competition, earning a slot to open one of its stages. Since then, they’ve played venues like Loco Club, Radio City, and Sala Jerusalem, and are working on new material to debut at this concert.
Their music, perfect for singing along live, fits the vibe of CC Proyecto Juby perfectly.
