Empar: The Language of Gesture and Humour
On 5 September 2026, CC Escorxador will host Empar, an artist specialising in clown, mime, and circus who tells stories without words. Her performance, rooted in gesture, music, and humour, portrays the daily lives of women who care and love without time for themselves—a universal story told through movement and emotion.
The show is part of the 11th Circ Voramar Festival, which, from 28 August to 6 September, fills Poblats Marítims in Valencia with 25 free contemporary circus performances. Acrobatics, juggling, balancing acts, physical theatre, and clown come together across various venues in the district, turning the area into an open-air stage.
