A journey into classic rock and roll in Valencia

On 26 September 2026, CEX (Centro Excursionista de Valencia) will host Doc&The Mads, the Barcelona-based band bringing back the sound of 1950s and 1960s rock and roll and rhythm & blues, infused with the raw energy of garage rock. Founded by pianist and composer Andreu Ros, the group features seasoned musicians: Javier Cortés (double bass, Los Torontos), Wilco van Eijk (drums, The Fuzillis), and Cesar Canut (guitar, The Sick Boys).

In 2022, they released their debut album, Doc & The Mads, under Buenritmo Records, recorded at Sol de Sants studios in Barcelona. In 2025, they unveiled a new EP produced by Dani Nel·lo, blending their signature style with a modern twist. The Valencia concert is part of their tour to promote these releases, featuring tracks from both their debut album and latest EP.
