A Concert of Roots and Connection
Cristina Narea, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer known for her authenticity, presents «Songs South of Jazz» at El Volander. Starting at 19:30, the show is a journey through the songs that have shaped her career: from original compositions to covers of artists who have influenced her artistic universe, such as Luis E. Aute—with whom she collaborated for over 20 years—Violeta Parra, and Víctor Jara. The setlist also includes boleros from her childhood, reimagined with a contemporary touch, and a sneak preview of new tracks from her upcoming album.
On stage, Narea will be joined by jazz pianist Rafa Aceves, creating a space of connection where her voice and guitar dialogue with the piano to breathe new life into each song. Far from nostalgia, the repertoire reflects the influences that have shaped her creative path, from jazz to Latin American music.
