The comparsa returning to Valencia
On 11 October 2026, La Rambleta welcomes Los Humanos, the comparsa led by Antonio Martínez Ares, which returned to the Official Carnival Groups Competition (COAC) of Cádiz in 2026 after a year’s hiatus. The group, which won Second Prize in its last appearance, will present a show in Valencia combining humour, social critique, and music, featuring a repertoire that includes their latest coplas and a selection of their most iconic songs.
The event starts at 12:00 and is suitable for all audiences. Tickets are priced at €30 (plus €3 in booking fees).
A unique format: the Cadiz comparsa
Unlike chirigotas—which focus more on satirical humour—comparsas like Los Humanos stand out for their elaborate lyrics, complex musical arrangements, and polished staging. Antonio Martínez Ares, an author with over three decades of experience, has created groups such as La Oveja Negra and Los Millonarios, and this time he revives the style that has earned him multiple COAC awards. The Valencia performance will include, according to the group, award-winning coplas from previous editions, adapted for this tour.
