Charity concert at Santos Juanes
On 30 September at 20:30, the Royal Parish of Santos Juanes (Plaza del Mercat, Valencia) will host the concert «Los Santos Juanes y la Noche Barroca de Antonio Palomino». This event concludes the series of activities organised by the Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia (MuBAV) to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the death of painter Antonio Palomino, whose decorative work in the parish (1699-1701) is one of his most notable projects.
Programme and participants
The Coral José Roca, conducted by Miguel Pons García, will perform works by 18th-century composers such as J. S. Bach, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Giuseppe Tartini, Joan Cererols, Lodovico Viadana, Pál Esterházy and Claudio Casciolini. The 70-minute concert will be divided into two parts, though the specific works for each have not been announced.
Tickets are priced at a flat rate of €10, as stated on the official poster. It is not specified whether advance sales will be available or if tickets can be purchased at the door.
