130 years of musical history
The Banda Simfònica Primitiva de Paiporta celebrates its 130th anniversary with a special concert at the Palau de la Música in Valencia. Founded in 1896, this ensemble is one of the oldest symphonic bands in the Comunitat Valenciana, with a trajectory defined by the performance of classical and contemporary works from the band repertoire.
The programme, titled «Amb la música per bandera», will include emblematic pieces that have shaped its legacy, such as Cançó d'Amor i de Guerra and El somni, under the direction of figures like José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana. The concert on 1 October 2026 (19:30, Iturbi Hall) will be free and open to the public, though capacity is limited.
For more details about the venue, check the Palau de la Música fact sheet.
