Two Valencian Pop Projects at La Rambleta
On 6 September 2026, the cultural venue La Rambleta hosts the first Ram Session of its season, a double concert bringing together two pop projects rooted in Valencia: Aurora Roja and La Antigua Fe. The event, scheduled for 13:00, is part of a series aiming to showcase local and international musical talent.
Aurora Roja: Lineup and Style
Aurora Roja is a trio featuring Jose Pazos (formerly of Futuro Terror), Óscar Mezquita (a collaborator in multiple bands and co-founder of Flexidiscos), and Paula Guillem (Perdón por Todo). Their sound focuses on minimalist pop, emphasising vocal harmonies and sonic textures. The group takes its name from Pío Baroja’s novel Aurora Roja, and their eponymous single—released as a teaser—draws influences from bands like The Evens, The Bats, and Dick Diver.
La Antigua Fe: Background and Sound
Formed in 2024 by Rafael Antón and José Aguado, La Antigua Fe emerged as a side project to explore ideas that didn’t fit their previous work. Between 2024 and 2026, they released several singles compiled in the EP En Qué Estaría Yo Pensando, and in May 2026, they dropped their debut album, Nuevo Astro que Surge. Their style is defined as electronic pop, characterised by direct melodies and digital arrangements.
Practical Information
The concert will take place at La Rambleta (Plaza Lorena Palau S/N). Tickets, priced between €11 and €13, are available on the official La Rambleta website and platforms like Notikumi. No details are provided about the event’s duration or minimum age requirements.
