Valencia's public transport runs mainly on EMT buses, with more than 60 lines and around 1,126 stops across the whole city. How to use the transport map
Tap any stop on the map to open its next arrivals in real time: you'll see which lines stop there and how many minutes until each bus, with data from the EMT's SAE system updating on its own. If you select a specific line, the map highlights its route and its stops from start to finish.
From the legend at the bottom you choose the mode —Bus, Taxi or Parking— and, in Bus mode, MetroBús, live buses and lines. That way you show only what you need and keep the map uncluttered. On mobile, the detail panel opens as a sliding sheet so you keep seeing the map while you check the data.
EMT bus
The EMT (Empresa Municipal de Transports) runs Valencia's city network and is the backbone of transport within the city: it reaches neighbourhoods with no metro, covers the seaside districts and the beach, and offers daytime, express and night lines (the N or owl lines, running in the early hours).
You pay with the SUMA card, with rechargeable travel passes, with your phone via the TuiN app or with a contactless bank card. Buying the ticket on board is the most expensive, so if you're making several trips a pass pays off. On the map you see each line's stops and their live arrivals so you don't wait longer than needed.
Useful lines if you're visiting Valencia
A few trips account for most of the queries from people visiting the city: from the centre to Malvarrosa and El Cabanyal beaches, from the centre to the City of Arts and Sciences, and the connections with Joaquín Sorolla station and the airport. For all of them, the most practical thing is to find your origin stop on the map, see which lines pass and check the next arrivals before you set off.
MetroBús, taxi, parking and other modes
The MetroBús is the network of metropolitan buses linking the towns of the metropolitan area with Valencia; on the map it sits with Bus mode. For taxis, the map shows the official ranks with their number of spaces. In Parking mode you see public car parks with free spaces when the City Council publishes them. And to cover the whole city, combine the bus with the Metrovalencia metro and tram and with Valenbisi bikes.
Zones and tickets
Valencia's transport is integrated into fare zones (A, B, C, D) and with a single ticket —the SUMA card— you can combine the EMT, Metrovalencia and Cercanías with free transfers. Most trips around the city stay within zone A; only the airport and metropolitan towns add a zone. Fares are updated every year, so check the current price on the EMT website.
